AGCO Commission Veterinarian List Information

Please see attached list consisting of horses that were placed on the AGCO Commission Veterinarian List in 2024 w/ Trainer of record at that time and have outstanding requirements to be removed

Please see process requirements from AGCO regarding scheduling an appointment for pre workout examination. 

·       Trainer and a private veterinarian are required to observe horse jogging and submit a “Veterinarian Statement of Fitness” jointly certifying that the horse is fit and sound to the Vet Clerks email.

·       The “Veterinarian Statement of Fitness” is valid for 48 hours (2 days) from the private veterinarian exam date and must be submitted and approved prior to official workout.

·       All official workouts off the Veterinarian’s List are to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance by requesting an appointment here: https://forms.office.com/r/PCLw7fBYag

·       Please note that the Official Veterinarian will examine your horse ~30-90 minutes before and approve horse to proceed with scheduled work.

·       Thoroughbreds require a published official four (4) furlong workout and post-work Vet Exam

·       The horse may be required to provide a blood sample for out-of-competition testing by the Commission or Official Veterinarian following the examination
