
To all horse people,
Effective immediately we would like to inform everyone of the following needed to enter the backstretch, along with the vaccination records, which was previously sent out.
A veterinary inspection letter shall accompany all horses entering Woodbine Racetrack, until further notice.
The veterinary inspection letter should include the following:
The horse(s) listed on this certificate of veterinary Inspection:
Has/have not originated nor have come from a barn with a confirmed or suspected case of EHV 1, strangles or any other diseases in the last 30 days.
Or been febrile within the previous 3 weeks.
Must include the date of the horse’s vaccination record including the name of the administered vaccination product.
This letter must be signed by the attending veterinarian within 7 days of shipping in to Woodbine.
A separate letter signed by the owner/operator of the farm where horse is stabled, must include the latest temperature recorded for the horse within 24 hours of shipping.
All vaccination records and veterinary inspection letters must be delivered to the Stall Office prior to the horses arrival at Woodbine to be read by the Racing Department.
