Woodbine pushes Sunday post time to 4 p.m.

TORONTO, June 20, 2025 — Woodbine Entertainment today announced the post time for this Sunday’s (June 22) card of live racing at Woodbine Racetrack has been pushed back to 4 p.m. |

The later post time of 4 p.m. is due to extreme heat forecasted for the Toronto area. |
|
The decision was made to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our horses and all racing participants, with approval from the AGCO and consultation with the HBPA. |
|
Throughout the weekend, Woodbine will put additional safety measures in place, including shorter post parades and increased water/hose access for all horses pre- and post-race. |
